At Strive, we partner with like-minded organizations to bring positive change to communities of young people. From middle-schoolers to young adults, youth of all ages Strive with us and discover that how they lead matters.
At Tyler’s Camp, middle school students in Wilmington, Delaware, explore sports, arts, music and technology and discover all that they can be. A program from SummerCollab, the camp is free for Wilmington’s highest-need youth.
We joined Public Allies Delaware to train young people, ages 17 to 20, in Wilmington’s Summer Youth Employment Program. Through the program, run by the Wilmington Department of Parks and Recreation, Wilmington places 500 youth (14 to 20 years old) in jobs at area businesses and in local government.
With a grant from Fund for Women in partnership with Serviam Girls Academy, we’re piloting an after-school leadership academy for 6th- and 7th-grade girls. A second grant from a Wilmington-based foundation will support the pilot of a second leadership academy for high school students during the 2017-2018 school year. Stay tuned for more information.
