Our Culture
From the moment athletes arrive at Sports Challenge, they become immersed in the invigorating, inclusive and motivating culture of Strive. The program is demanding and supportive — inspiring athletes to improve their game individually and collectively. They are encouraged to take risks in a safe environment; to embrace failure and “brush it off.” This mindset cultivates growth in both athletic performance and leadership development.
Our Coaches
At Sports Challenge our coaches change lives. We are athletic professionals and college-level athletes who are so dedicated to the program that we take personal vacation time to build the Strive community and nurture young leaders. We serve as mentors in all aspects of the student-athlete experience — eating in the dining hall, hanging out during breaks, building individual relationships, and delivering high-impact sport-specific training.

Tuition
Tuition: $50-$850 (Sliding scale tuition)
Tuition Assistance
Strive actively seeks to make our programs available to young leaders no matter their financial background. We therefore offer sliding scale tuition for Sports Challenge between $50 and $850, providing families the ability to choose the amount they are able to pay.Â
While Strive fundraises and receives grants, please keep in mind that tuition payments allow our organization to keep running our leadership programs. We appreciate your honesty in this process.Â
Families will choose their payment option when completing the Sports Challenge registration form.Â
Please note that lunches and snacks are provided at no additional cost.

Nominations
Coaches, Teachers, Administrators, Mentors and Sports Challenge Alumni are welcome to nominate student-athletes for Sports Challenge 2024! We invite you to nominate rising leaders who are passionate about their sport. Please nominate rising 8th-12th grade basketball, lacrosse, and soccer players.
